Welcome to this iLDS tutorial Here you would learn the new way we are uploading & making a post (event or feature). If you haven’t notice the main page you can see the viewer can actually view the slide show or vimeo video on the main page and this is tutorial we are going to teach you this.

***NOTE*** YOU FIRST HAVE TO GO ILDS FLICKR ACCOUNT & UPLOAD THE PICS INTO A PHOTOSET.

first you have to sign in with your user name & password (if you don’t have one or forgotten yours contact Pete or Ross & we can set u up one).

Once log in to the “dashboard” this is how the page looks.

Scroll down until you see the flickr plugin called “AWESOME FLICKR GALLERY” & select “add gallery

1st thing you need to do is name the gallery (most likely the same thing you name it on iLDS flickr account) & then select from the drop down menu “photoset

then on the second drop down menu you would scroll until you see your photoset name

now scroll down to you see “size of photos” and select “medium max 500px” and then hit “add gallery

The plugin then would generate a code that you would need to copy.

then scroll back up to “post” and select “add new” & then you need to name the event or feature, in the body section you would paste the code from awesome flickr gallery.

Now at this point you now have to re-upload your images on the sites media gallery by selecting “add media” button.

1st you have to pick “create gallery

and then pick “upload” & then “select files” (note as your uploading your pics they would be check mark)

once ur done uploading your pics click on “create a new gallery

on this page you don’t have to do anything but select “insert gallery as slider

you would now see the code in this area.

scroll down and add your tags, category and then scroll more down to preview your work & once you are satisfy you can either click on publish or if you want someone to review it before publishing you can save your work as a draft & can even set a date & time for it automatically publish it for you.
